To provide accurate data browsing, Migration Platform allows for selecting the exact schemas to either avoid or include in the tree view.

Depending on the source and target platforms, the Tree View menu in Settings will show the exact schemas names ready for checking. Each of the selected platforms has a unique set of schemas based on their syntax.

Logically, Global Settings provide more options for filtering the platforms in the dropdown menu — they include IBM DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL Database, Microsoft SQL Server.

Respectively, Project Settings provide the source and target platforms and the available options (currently, the Microsoft SQL Server to PostgreSQL pair is selected).

What’s more, users can manually add the preferred schemas or databases to hide and unhide them later on. To do that, press the Add button in the lower part of the Settings window.

After specifying a proper schema or database name, press Save to further check or uncheck the newly added object.
