Inside the Project settings menu, you can specify the amount of time needed to complete various operations. If the operation isn’t completed in time, the software displays an error message indicating the operation timed out.

To enter the timeout length for each of the Data Migration, Data Comparison, Test Organizer, and Data Store modules, go to the Main Menu > Project settings and select the corresponding module settings. Each of the modules has its own menu and has the following purpose:

  • For the Data Migration module, Database preferences allow you to specify the command timeout value in days, hours, minutes and seconds. The Agent preference list allows you to specify the timeout value in hours, minutes, and seconds.
