Data migration
You can migrate data from source tables and views to target tables. The data migration is processed by the bulk insert command that ensures the high speed of data transfer. See how this operation is performed.
Create a new project or open an existing one.
Select the operation scope by choosing the desired nodes on metadata trees.
Click the Migrate
button in the Data Operations panel. You will get to the matching page.
Here you can adjust objects matching if needed.
Click the Options button
at the bottom right-hand corner of the central window. You will get to the Data migrate options page.
Click the Run button
at the bottom right-hand corner of the central window to get the result.
New data will be added to the target tables. At the end of the process, you’ll see the amount of data rows actually migrated from source tables.
Click the Export button
at the bottom right-hand corner of the central window to save the migration statistics in the log file.
Click the Close button
at the top right-hand corner of the central window to close the Data migration window.
